In the Summer of 2006 game developer David Perry asked if he could screen a version of the film at the prestigious TED conference. I agreed and later that Spring David spoke, and showed the film at TED2006. That talk, and the version of As Real as Your Life that was show, was released online as a TED talk in October 2008. This version of the film is also included on the DVD.
